If you are like me and like to learn about a variety of topics, but don’t really have the time to read a book on the subject you can watch HowStuffWorks. You can feed your baby, iron clothes, lift weights, jump rope, and balance your check book, meanwhile, learning about whatever peaks your interest. At Chariot to Freedom we would like to appeal to the masses both layman and expert alike; I believe anyone can benifit from this site. I thought I would share this, because we all have to work to collect a paycheck, but the money you place into your savings account fluctuates in value. Be prepared when you read headlines, and you will be able to pick out the things that make sense and the things that do not. When the government wants to control a certain price on a commodity you will be able to say, “That is Communism the antithesis to Capitalism!”

If you watch the basics in economics video they mention America’s “free market” economy. This is untrue because in a true free market economy a central bank like the Federal Reserve doesn’t exist. Read this article to learn how much of a “free” market we really do have.
